That’s what he Biblical David said in Psalms 109 and that is how many Black community activists feel today.
If money is the root of all evil, lies are the fertilizer for the root.
Most marriages, relationships, friendships and partnerships are negatively affected by lies. One lie leads to another and multiple lies lead to breakups.
I know a lot about lies. I oftentimes facilitate commodity transactions and 90 percent of the people I talk to about commodities are liars. They lie about having millions and billions of dollars to purchase something and they lie about having billions of dollars of commodity products to sell.
Thank God you only need two honest traders working together to earn enough money to be set for life.
Once again, one of the most popular lies in America is “The nigger did it!”
Recently a woman put acid on her face that caused significant injuries and when she was asked how the injury happened she went on television and said a Black woman did it.
Well, that was a new one. Most of the time, Black men are falsely accused by non-Black criminals of perpetrating crimes.
As we approach the 2010 Elections, we have to be aware of the political liars.
From now until Election Day, politicians will be lying about what they can do and what they will do once you cast your vote for them.
President Barack Obama has sort of waffled. He promised to begin withdrawals from Iraq and he has sort of started that. He promised health care reform and he has tinkered with health care.
But the President seems unable or unwilling to go as far as the people want him to go in stopping wars, making health care affordable, reforming Wall Street, creating jobs and so forth.
Obama seems to be trying to live up to some of his campaign promises but he is being blocked time and time again by the Republican Party of No and the conservative members of his own Democratic Party who are merely recalcitrant, conservative and reactionary Democratic sheep in liberal party clothing.
Yes, during the campaign season, politicians will pretend that they love you, pretend that they support you, pretend that they will be accessible to you and pretend that they will be public servants for you.
Be careful when you go to the polls, the wicked and deceitful have also spoken to you with a lying tongue!
