BBIF Florida will host a Community Kick-Off event, the newly created Dollars & Sense Financial Literacy Training Program on Friday, February 21, at Barnett Park, 4801 W. Colonial Drive, Orlando, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The event will feature on-site financial literacy training workshops, compliments of SunTrust Bank and free small business and consumer tax preparation services and credit reports, courtesy of BB&T Bank in partnership with AARP Foundation Tax-Aide.
Incorporating a tribute to Black History, the event program will include the participation of Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs, Orange County District 6 Commissioner Tiffany Moore Russell and FDIC Community Affairs Officer Thomas Stokes.
