A 76-year-old man was bound and robbed at gunpoint while working as a security guard at a store on State Road 535 on Monday night.
Orange County investigators said, the victim was working at the OshKosh B’Gosh store at 15795 State Road 535 when he was approached by three suspects, one of whom was carrying a long gun. OshKosh B’Gosh was undergoing construction and was open to construction workers throughout the night.
The suspects grabbed the victim, threw him on the concrete and tied his wrists. His eyes were taped and his cell phone taken, investigators said.
Another victim, a 35-year-old man was also approached by the suspect with the long gun and he was told to go to the back room, along with a third victim. Both victims’ feet were taped.
Investigators said, the suspects removed the store safe and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and other items. The suspects fled in an unknown direction.
Deputies don’t have much to go on as no vehicle was seen and no video surveillance is available.
One suspect is described as 6 feet tall, weighing about 180 pounds. He wore dark grey or black clothing, black boots and a skeleton mask. This suspect, who is described as having a dark complexion, brandished a rifle.
The descriptions of the second and third suspects are unknown.
