Two people are confirmed dead in a two-vehicle crash on State Road 33 in Polk City, on Sunday morning.
The crash occurred just before 10:00 a.m., in the area of Commonwealth Avenue North and Green Pond Road, just south of the Lake County line.
Authorities said, the collision was between an SUV and car.
Authorities also said, the driver of one of the vehicles has been airlifted to Lake County Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
Two other people were pronounced dead on the spot. Â Their names have not been released.
The crash caused State Road 33, near Green Pond Road, to be shut down.
