“Artistry!”

ab317d235a9abc1be09d6042e6b443d2Scanned the obits and intuitively surmised why she was dwelling there!

Point blank, her “bases were loaded” with men who didn’t heal her aloneness. Her “bases were loaded” with men who frequently gave her a “wild goose chase.” Her bases were loaded with men who brought her tumultuous years and a floodgate of tears.

Without further ado, this vulnerable angel extinguished the fire because she couldn’t successfully navigate being misused anymore by additional screwed-up men!

Pitiful!

“When you can’t change the direction of the wind, adjust your sails.”

By all accounts, this “Bathsheba” was a serene beauty and such a dignified young lady who notably was admired for her sense of taste, personality, professionalism, style, work ethics, spirituality, poise, and her honey-sweet disposition.

Just lost sensibilities with her choices of men!

From Andrea to Oprah, there are few women who are exempted from the broken-hearted club. Most times, as women, we think that freely giving men our most “prized possession” is the ultimate solution by naively thinking that our “cherry” is the ticket and magnetism to catapult them to the commitment stage.

Regrettably, if the relationship isn’t moving fast enough, we clutch and squeeze our “man” ever so tightly when our insecurity thermometer inadvertently ticks up the scale. At this stage, we often turn a “blind eye” to his instability, his rawness, his shortcomings, his imperfections, and his challenges that incrementally seeps into the relationship. Guiltily, we also often overlook “his faults” because of our own sense of desperation and neediness.

Eventually, when we slowly reawaken from being Pollyannaish, our “emotional bank account” is overwrought from the relational “demolition derby” as we are now left bankrupted with bruised wounds, hurt feelings, exacerbated resentments, psychiatric diseases, plummeting self-assurance, embittered humiliation, seismic withdrawals, exploding despair, depleted detachments, squashed hopelessness, catastrophic longings….

And, a leftover azz for the next guy!

Read, with disgust and disdain, an article on West Orlando News OnLine’s website whereby a ruffian-like scoundrel by the name of Syncere whose modus operandi was to befriend unsuspecting single women via Facebook with the sole objective of scamming them by check and/or by debit card. What peeked my interest about this cannibalistic cad were the scathing commentaries written by a host of victims who described in atrocious detail the depth of his degenerate “artistry.”

Assessing the trauma, recognized why my “sister-friend” couldn’t find her way out of the swamp!

It’s wretched punks like cold and heartless, Syncere, who use their perfected “artistry,” roguish appetite, and sex appeal by stealing women’s innocence and then callously dump them “lock, stock, and barrel” by the wayside like a damn dirty diaper without any remorse because they know that lurking in the shadow is another “misguided and lonely angel” desiring to do his bidding without any hope of exclusivity and entanglements.

Ladies, do you want to infuriate the Syncere’s of the world? How about each of us make a “pinky promise” that beginning tonight and until Kingdom comes we collectively vow to “keep our legs shut!”

Puts a man on “bended knees” every time!

Overreacting to wolves’ provocations by ending one’s life is not the antidote to being lonely. Perhaps the answer is to break free of the unhealthy behaviors that attracted you to “bad boys” in the first place and then spend more time in a cocoon exploring the root cause of your unhappiness. Soon, you will reemerge as a “new and improved” butterfly ready to spread your wings and not, dare I say, your “legs” again.

Only wished I could have told my “lonely flower” that being on the receiving end of a man’s “demonic artistry” does not justify severe punishment like….

Suicide!
