Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the Public Art Review Board, presents “The Art of Letting Go” by Robert James.
The opening reception will be on January 27th and the exhibit will be on display until June 4th.
This is an artist who pours his heart and soul into each piece he creates, infusing them with hope and second chances. James’ work with fluid acrylics centers on the exploration of motion, capturing the dynamic energy and flow of life itself.
By surrendering control and allowing the paint to forge its path, he creates pieces that reflect a delicate interplay between intention and spontaneity. His art invites engagement with the rhythm of each piece, discovering beauty in the patterns, movements, and unexpected outcomes.
The exhibit will be on display in the Orange County Administration Center in the Board of County Commissioners Chambers Gallery from January 27 to June 4, 2025. The Administration Center is open 8am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday except for holidays.
Orange County said that through his work, Robert shares a message of hope and grace, reminding us that life’s surprises often hold the greatest beauty.
