Armed Robbery of Reporter at ATM

A reporter, using an ATM early yesterday morning was robbed at knife point.

Nigel Prevett was using the Chase Bank ATM on Curry Ford Road in the front locked lobby area.  Customers of Chase Bank are the only ones who have access. The customers swipe their card to unlock the door and have access to the ATM.  An unknown suspect knocked on the front door and the victim let him in.

Once inside, a second suspect entered.   The suspects demanded cash from Prevett’s bank via ATM card. The victim gave the suspects a certain amount of cash  and upon receiving the money, the suspects fled.

Suspect 1, is either Hispanic or a white male in early twenties and  approximately 5’10”, 170 lbs. with dark hair, wearing a white hoodie, baggy blue jeans.

Suspect 2, is either Hispanic or a white male, early twenties, approximately 5’10”, 170 lbs., dark hair, dark
shirt, possibly a hoodie, baggy blue jeans.

Suspect 1 was armed with  a six inch silver blade. Suspect 2 implied he had a gun but it was never
seen.

The  suspects vehicle is unknown.  The victim heard a loud muffler a few seconds after both suspects ran out of the bank lobby.
