Mr. John Cloran has been selected as the State Agriscience Teacher of the Year. He is the agriscience teacher and FFA advisor at Apopka Memorial Middle School. Mr. Cloran has worked for Orange County Public Schools for more than 35 years.
He will receive state recognition for this honor at the 5th General Session of the 81st Florida FFA State Convention on Wednesday, June 10, 2009.
Mr. Cloran works to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agriculture education.
