This is a recent example of a fake “press release”. The release stated:
Tomorrow at 1:00pm in front of Orlando City Hall, 400 S Orange Ave, 32801, the Greater Orlando National Organization for Women (NOW), the Orange County Democrats, community leaders, women and survivors call for accountability in response to the latest rape allegation against President Donald Trump. On June 21st, Jean Carroll: “Rape is sexy” accused Donald Trump of raping her 23 years ago. There has been markedly little media or political response in proportion to the seriousness of this allegation. This is the 23rd accusation of sexual assault or sexual harassment against the President and the 2nd rape allegation.
We demand that this allegation be taken seriously. We stand with women and survivors. Join us for a rally and vigil to demand accountability and to uplift the voices of women and survivors.
“The stories and experiences of survivors matter. We believe E. Jean Carroll. Donald Trump is a rapist and a serial sexual predator and he must be held accountable for his abuses of women,” said the organizer.
