Orange County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man who robbed three Hispanic males, shooting one of them to death.
At approximately 8:30 PM on Friday, January 15th, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center received a 9-1-1 call from 843 Sunniland Drive, Orlando, in reference to a shooting.
Deputies responded to the scene and found that three Hispanic males had been shot. The victims told deputies they were hanging out in the backyard when two black males, armed with handguns approached them, and demanded money. One of the victims did not comply and the suspect started shooting, injuring three of them.
The victims were transported the Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Juan Garcia-Renderos, one of the victims died of his injuries on Saturday, January 16th. The other two victims remain hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Dezmond DeJohn Bolden, 20 years, was arrested and charged with felony murder and robbery with a firearm.
