At approximately 6:22 pm on Monday, December 7th, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center received several 9-1-1 calls in reference to a possible shooting in the area of 41stStreet and South Orange Blossom Trail. Deputies responded to the scene and found a 19 year old black male on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center; he was pronounced dead at approximately 6:54 PM.
Homicide detectives are continuing with their investigation and interviewing persons in and around the area.
The motive is unknown at this time. The deceased is identified as Prince Holliman, 19 years.
I went out with Prince when I was 16 years old .He was a intelligent boy who was mislead down the wrong path that lost his mother within the last 2 years.He’s not just another statistic is a human being who never will be able to fullfill his potential because someone wanted to try and rob him for drugs.He was robbed numerous times before,who know that someone would be cruel enough to take his precious life away.Rip Prince Kiar HOllimAN ,your more than a statistic ,you are the start of a new beginning .I plan on starting a peace protestt on texas ave for you and the other fallen loved ones of our community.
