A tip led to a local drug bust in Orange County, and local law enforcement recently used the example to encourage anonymous tips from the community.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies received a tip that Eddie Rhodes was selling drugs. They investigated and secured a search warrant for his Central Florida residence.
According to OCSO, local law enforcement found two pistols, one rifle, 225 grams of cocaine, 84 grams of fentanyl, 60 grams of methamphetamine, and one pound of cannabis.
The fentanyl alone has the potential to kill 42,000 people. Now it is off the streets of Orange County.
According to law enforcement, Eddie Rhodes faced charges of Armed Trafficking in Cocaine, Fentanyl, and Methamphetamine.
“We encourage you to continue sending us anonymous tips in our quest to get deadly drugs off the streets,” the Orange County Sheriff’s Office posted. “We are so proud of our deputies for their hard work!”
