Orange County deputies arrested 38-year-old Marcelo Alves on Tuesday. Investigators said he confessed to using the Internet to lure a 20-year-old woman to a vacant home in the Dr. Phillips area, where he raped her.
The victim told investigators that she met Alves in an internet chat room, and that they interacted online for a couple of weeks. She said he described himself as a blonde haired, blue-eyed guy, but it was all a lie. Alves has dark hair, dark eyes and he’s married with children.
