Old Town will be hosting an “American Hero Fest” on Sunday, April 28th from 2 – 9 p.m.
This will be a free festival showing appreciation for the men and women who serve our country, and those who put their lives at risk to make our community a safer place. Guests who participate in the American Hero Fest can expect live music from local band “Showdown”, stilt walkers, an Appreciation Ceremony, Blood Drive, parade, and a decorated truck cruise.
Old Town will also be giving away a free AMPventure wristband to all men and women of the Armed Forces, Police, Fire Dept and Emergency Services with proof of ID or employment.
Activity Schedule:
• Appreciation Ceremony at the Old Town Stage: 2 p.m.
• Blood Drive: 2 p.m.
• Live Band “Showdown”: 4 p.m.
• Parade & Truck Cruise: 8:30 p.m.
The shops and restaurants will also be open, so visitors can still enjoy Old Towns shopping and dining during the Festival.
