With a near capacity flight, Air France expanded its global outreach when its first 777-300 landed at Orlando International Airport Tuesday.
The initial flight was greeted with a water salute by airport fire fighters.
The arrival of Air France to OIA opens up other routes and increases access to the world’s number one family destination.
“This new service will also bring in approximately $63.6 million for the local economy,” said Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.
Air France will operate three flights per week from OIA to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France.
