Additional OUC Crews Head to Long Island to Help Restore Power

A second group of OUC electric crews left OUC’s Pershing facility in Orlando recently left for Long Island to help with the restoration efforts after Hurricane Sandy smashed into the Northeast earlier this week. The utility vehicles are bringing 14 OUC personnel to assist with storm relief at Long Island Power Authority.

Earlier in the week, OUC sent electric crews to snowy McHenry, Maryland to assist FirstEnergy.
