Florida abortion advocates are working to pass an amendment that will expand abortion up to birth, and the Florida Supreme Court will soon decide if the amendment will make the November 2024 ballot.
In response, on Monday, March 4th, the anti-abortion group Created Equal will display images of abortion on the University of Central Florida’s (UCF) campus in Orlando to help educate students about the amendment.
The abortion display will try to make the case that abortion is murder, according to organizers.
It will be held at the University of Central Florida, in the free speech zone near the Reflecting Pond (close to 4365 Andromeda Loop N, Orlando, FL 32816) on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 10:45am to 1:45pm.
In addition, Created Equal’s Justice Ride tour will also visit the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa on March 5th and 6th and Florida State University (FSU) in Tallahassee on March 7th and 8th.
The display at University of South Florida (USF) will be on Tuesday, March 5th and Wednesday, March 6th near Cooper Hall and the Library from 10:45am – 1:45pm. The display at Florida State University (FSU) will be at Landis Green on Thursday, March 7th from 10:45am – 1:45pm, and Friday, March 8th from 10:45am – 12:45pm.
“Our teams of young people will assist Floridians to resist the attempt to make their state like California and not enshrine painful late-term abortion into their Constitution,” said Mark Harrington, President of Created Equal.
Created Equal is a national anti-abortion organization that seeks to show what abortion does to preborn children. The project attempts to influence America’s future decision-makers and leaders.
Orlando Democratic State Representative Anna Eskamani is a UCF graduate and one of Florida’s leading abortion rights advocates. The UCF College Democrats also organize on a consistent basis and the abortion issue will be a top focus in 2024.
