A Petrified Forest: Local Haunt Provides Great Thrills

A Petrified Forest continues to be my favorite local haunt!

All 3 houses are absolutely awesome and for it to be more “DIY” I’m continually impressed!

A Petrified ForestThe themes were honestly great:

Deadly Games is one of their awesome and unique houses. It’s themed to a deadly game show, like a more intense Saw but also campy. Petrified uses their space well and this is tight, intense, and fun.
A Tier!!!

Lifelines was the 2nd house and this is the single most intense house I’ve done this Haunt Season. This house was kind of like an old timey Bird Box. Lighting was used extremely well and this house was DARK, intense and terrifying. Wow!!!

S Tier!

House of DeKay was fun and well themed especially for a local haunt! I’m talking full staircases, corn maze, morgue, etc.

This had my single best scare of the year! A chainsaw came out of nowhere and an actor crawled out of a fireplace.

Not *AS* scary as Lifelines.

A+ Tier

Overall Petrified Forest continues to be a great intersection of thrills and value. Where you can support your local haunts and get just as scared as you would at Triple A haunts. A Petrified Forest tickets start at $40 and range upwards for Fast Pass and backstage options.

For more information visit A Petrified Forest and enjoy this event in Altamonte Springs until November 2nd.
