Two Orange County deputies and a trooper were exposed to a suspicious chemical as they investigated a crash at the Green Gables Apartment complex on Wednesday morning.

Troopers said, 34-year-old Felix Lockett collided with a wall on the south shoulder of Honor Road, after he lost control of the 2000 Mercury he was driving.

Deputies and troopers who turned up to investigate quickly felt nauseous and began vomiting, clickorlando.com reported.

Two deputies and a trooper were taken to a local area hospital and are okay.

A Hazmart team was brought in to investigate the suspicious chemical which was later confirmed to be formaldehyde.

Lockett, who was found naked running around outside his vehicle, suffered serious injuries and admitted to using formaldehyde and marijuana, clickorlando.com also reported.  He was taken to Florida Hospital South for treatment.
