The Bengel’s Burgers Five Guys Burgers & Fries franchise continues its community outreach by donating $2,170 to the Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida (DSACF). Five Guys made a pledge at the beginning of the Daytona Cubs’ 2012 season to donate $5 for every strike-out to the DSACF. The Cubs had 434 strike-outs—which brought the donation to $2,170. The check was recently presented at the DSACF.
“Five Guys gives back to the Central Florida community in so many ways,” said DSACF Executive Director Amy VanBergen. “The Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida is extremely grateful to benefit from their generous community outreach efforts. The money they have donated to us will help many people.”
The Bengel’s Burgers Five Guys franchise has 16 locations in Orange, Osceola, Volusia and Brevard Counties and employs nearly 400 people across Central Florida.
