Gov. Rick Scott meets today with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to talk about new Medicaid and health care exchange requirements under the federal health care law, and the status of the state’s effort to reform Medicaid.
“I continue to have some questions, to make sure that whatever we do is good for the citizens of our state,” Scott told the News Service late last week.
Kathleen Sibelius is the daughter of an Ohio Governor, was Governor of Kansas herself. Before that, she was Insurance Commissioner of Kansas and President of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. She is a pal of Florida Commissioner McCarty,b ut does not buy the BS generally. Hopefully she will tell our Governor to move.
