Magic surge past Timberwolves

Glen Davis’ 28 points led the Orlando Magic to a 102-93 win Monday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

“We fight until the end,” Davis said post game.

The Magic snapped the Timberwolves four game winning streak in route to notching their third straight victory.

“It’s about playing as a team,” Davis continued. “I’m blue collar, not high class, I’m a worker! ”

Davis sounded like a man taking a shot at his old teammate, you know that center they had last year.

Orlando outscored Minnesota 53-32 in the second half capping off an electric comeback in front of a near sold out Amway Arena.

Kevin Love led Minnesota with 23 points and 15 rebounds.

Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio was a none factor Monday night. Rubio was 0-3 from the field with four assists in 16 minutes of play.

“It’s tough because you want to be out on the court and help your team,” Rubio said.

Orlando’s Nikola Vucevic chipped in 14 points and 11 rebounds for his third straight double-double, followed by Arron Afflalo’s 13 points.

The Magic will host the Washington Wizards Wednesday night, tip off set for 7pm.
