Construction will begin today on a new restaurant near the Amway Center downtown Orlando.
Called The Club at NBA City, the restaurant will be located at the northwest corner of the Amway Center near the intersection of Church Street and Division Avenue. The new restaurant is modeled after NBA City Orlando at Universal CityWalk and will feature 4,160 square-feet of ground-floor space and include an outdoor patio on the plaza outside the arena.
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Orlando Venues Executive Director Allen Johnson, NBA City General Manager Gerri Ferriera will be on hand for the construction kick-off.
The restaurant is scheduled to open during October 2012.
