Four attacks in less than one month have taken place at Central Florida waterparks and law enforcement officials are currently investigating the most recent sexual assault on a teenage girl at Disney Typhoon Lagoon.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, a 15-year-old girl was attacked inside the wave pool at the park. The girl got away from the attacker and told her father that a man pulled her bathing suit off and groped her in the wave pool. The victim and her father positively identified the man they said attacked her.
Orange County deputies arrested 51-year-old Robert Chester Double Jr., of New York. Authorities say other victims have also come forward. Double is now in police custody, charged with lewd or lascivious molestation and could be facing additional charges.
