Two murder suspects are dead, after the vehicle in which they were traveling overturned in a canal on Princeton Street near Mercy Drive, Orlando police said.
The unidentified suspects were believed to have shot and killed another man in the 1500 block of south Westmoreland Drive on Tuesday, police also said.
Cops were following the murder suspects and had attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver of the vehicle sped away, failing to negotiate a turn in the road.
The vehicle traveled across the center median, crossed the two east bound travel lanes of Princeton Street and ended up in a canal upside down, investigators said.
The crash left two murder suspects dead and three other occupants in the vehicle in critical condition.
Police have not released the names of occupants of the vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
