The Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitor’s Bureau will be hosting the Bike Week Community Appreciation Parade on Saturday, March 17, 2012. The parade will begin at the 9am at the Ocean Center and end at the Daytona International Speedway.
All interested participants should congregate at the staging area in the south parking lot of the Ocean Center on Saturday, March 17th beginning at 7:00 AM entering from Main Street on Oleander Ave. At 9am the parade will leave the Ocean Center with an escort of Daytona Beach Police Motorcycle Unit on the way to Daytona International Speedway.
The parade with travel east on Auditorium Blvd to Atlantic Avenue from the Ocean Center south parking lot. The parade will then travel south on Atlantic Ave to Speedway Blvd. The bikers will then travel west on Speedway Blvd to Midway Ave. The parade will turn south on Midway Ave to Gate 70 and then make the final turn onto Speedway Property.
All airport traffic is encouraged to use Williamson Blvd to access Midway Avenue rather than access Midway Ave via Speedway Blvd or Richard Petty Blvd.
Non-event related traffic is strongly encouraged to use I-95, Mason Ave, Beville, Road, Williamson Blvd, or other alternate routes to avoid traffic delays.
