A tip has led to the arrest of an Orlando police officer, Chief Paul Rooney announced late Friday night.
The OPD officer, Jaime Bridges, was arrested after she was busted buying Oxycodone while on duty, Rooney said in a late night press conference.
“It is with great displeasure that I stand before you tonight and announce that one of our own Orlando police officers has been arrested for the purchase of oxycodone while on duty,” said Rooney, cfnews13.com reported.
Bridges was arrested for allegedly buying Oxycodone pills from a confidential informant. She has been charged with two felonies, including official misconduct.
