A California woman, serving a life sentence for killing and cooking her newlywed husband’s body parts, would like to be released from prison in time for the holidays.
Omaima Nelson, a former nanny from Egypt, will appear before a parole board on Wednesday at the Central California’s Women’s Facility in Chowchilla, seeking her release.
A jury convicted Nelson of murdering her husband William Nelson, 56 years, in a grisly killing that authorities likened to the fictional slayings of Hannibal Lecter.
