A man who shot and killed a woman and then went to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to confess, has been arrested.
Michael M. Alleyne, 36, has been charged with first degree murder and is being held in the Orange County Jail without bond.
Alleyne told investigators on Tuesday morning that he shot dead a woman in a home on Fox Briar Drive.
Investigators went to the 5418 Fox Briar Drive location, off north Powers Drive, entered the residence and found the victim deceased.
Deputies have not released the name of the woman. The relationship between Alleyne and the deceased is not clear at this time.
The investigation continues.
