Troopers are continuing to investigate a crash which killed an pedestrian on US 192, late on Wednesday night.
Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said, a 2004 Chevy traveling southbound in the left lane of US 192, north of Oren Brown Road, struck and killed a pedestrian as she walked east, from the west shoulder of the roadway towards the median of US 192.
The Chevy was driven by 25-year-old Adam Hughett, of Kissimmee.
The unknown pedestrian was taken to the Osceola Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Troopers are awaiting toxicology results to determine if alcohol played a role in the crash.
Hughett was not injured in the crash, which occurred around 11:30 p.m.
