Police continue their search for two young girls reported missing this week, after they disappeared with their mother and her boyfriend.
Jelaysia Gaines, 1, and Shamia Frierson, 4, left with their mother, Iraetta Maylana Frierson, 33, and her boyfriend, Matthew Oliver Lowe, 41, according to West Palm Beach police.
They were last seen July 1, when a state Department of Children and Families investigator checked on them at a relative’s house, officials said.
At some point after that visit, a case manager returned to the house and found that the girls were not there, said Chase Scott, West Palm Beach Police spokesman.
