Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando Area on Wednesday welcomed six families to their new townhomes at Stag Horn Villas.
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and City Commissioner Daisy Lynum (District 5) were on hand to participate in today’s dedication, along with representatives from the other home sponsors. These included, Jody Fales of HD Supply; Linda Landman-Gonzalez, Bo Outlaw and Nick Anderson, representing the Orlando Magic; Dave Cuevas of Wells Fargo and James and Kathy Gilchrist of Gilchrist Enterprises.
Mark Hoewing with InCharge Debt Solutions, a nonprofit credit counselor who provides Habitat homeowners with 40 hours of financial literacy courses prior to homeownership, was also present.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando Area is in the final stages of constructing Stag Horn Villas – currently, 41 of 58 units have been completed.
