Deputies found an elderly man dead and his wife critically injured in their home on Thursday and they suspect that the shooter was one of the victims.
Investigators found Wilbert Carter, 76, dead of a gun shot wound and his wife, Thelma Carter, 73, in critical condition, when they arrived at the couple’s home on Wautoma Road in Orlando. Thelma Carter had also be shot.
Investigators say, they are not searching for a suspect in this case as the evidence point to the shooter being one of the victims.
Deputies say, the Carter’s were married and living together on Wautoma Road with their son. Thelma Carter’s sister was apparently a guest in the home, at the time of the shooting.

Media and Law enforcement forget to mention two other people were in the house and claimed to have not heard anything. Case Closed! Really??? How could you not hear about four to five gun shots go off? why not question the two people that were there? Not to mention, the house are really close and none of the neighbors hear anything either? BS!!! The guy was retired military and retired correction officer. The family knew he had a gun for protection, but know nothing about the gun that was at the scene. A lot of things just don’t add up!!!
