WHAT: Fourth Annual National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims

WHEN: September 24, 2010 – 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

WHERE: Mayor Carl T. Langford Park – 1808 East Central Bl., Orlando, FL:

WHO: Area law enforcement representatives and local dignitaries will join the families of several Central Florida murder victims for this service.  In addition, Jeffrey Davis, author of “The Shadow of Evil:  Where is God in a Violent World” will be the guest speaker at this year’s event.  Mr. Davis’ mother was the last victim of the BTK serial killer.  Mr. Davis along with several surviving family members will be available to speak with the media at this event.

WHY: This day has been set aside to support and mourn with family members who have had a loved one taken from them through a senseless and violent homicide.  We honor their memories on this Day of Remembrance.
