Disney’s Magical Express (DME) celebrated its 10 millionth passenger from Orlando International Airport on Monday, May 3rd.
The Ogurkis family of Hazleton, Pennsylvania was in the right place at the right time as Mickey Mouse and other Disney cast members greeted the family and provided them with their very own private Magical Express shuttle to Disney World.
“Orlando International Airport is pleased to support innovative and seamless means of transportation for the traveling public. Resort transportation as provided by Disney’s Magical Express is a unique option that helps to enhance the overall travel experience for millions of visitors to Central Florida,” says Steve Gardner, Executive Director of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority.
Disney’s Magical Express has been in operation at Orlando International Airport since 2005, averaging 2.2 million riders per year. DME transports guests, hassle-free, to their Disney hotels where their luggage awaits their arrival.
