22-Year-Old Arrested for Murder in Fatal Tampa Shooting

A 22-year-old suspect was arrested for murder in a fatal Tampa shooting.




Tampa Police arrested 22-year-old Xavier Alamo in connection with the fatal shooting of an adult Hispanic male in his mid-30s.

On Sunday, December 22, 2024, around 7:30am, officers responded to the 9400 block of N. Brooks St. in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim deceased on the front porch of a residence.

According to local law enforcement, the victim had sustained an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.

The investigation revealed that Alamo and the victim were in a verbal altercation prior to the shooting.

This month, Alamo was taken into custody and charged with One Felony Count of Murder in the First Degree.
