The Florida Lottery recently announced that William Black, of Auburndale, claimed a $1 million top prize from the Loteria Grande scratch-off game.
The Polk County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.
The Central Florida winner purchased his winning ticket from Bhadra, Inc., located at 209 East Lake Avenue in Auburndale. The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
He claimed the winning prize at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office.
