New Chair of the Libertarian Party of Florida Announced

A new chair of the Libertarian Party of Florida was recently announced.




The LPF announced Matt Johnson as the new chair of the political party while thanking Josh Hlavka for his previous leadership as chair.

chair Libertarian Party of Florida Matt JohnsonThe state party said Johnson brings a wealth of experience, having served as the Libertarian Party of Florida Communications Chair, Region 2 Alternate Representative on the Libertarian National Committee, and Chair of the Volusia County affiliate.

“His tireless work for liberty and our party make him an outstanding choice to lead us forward,” the LPF said. “We’re excited for his leadership as we continue to fight for individual freedom, limited government, and personal responsibility in Florida.”

The Libertarian Party (LP) is the third largest political party in the nation, and claims to be “the only true alternative to the old two-party stranglehold on our economic freedom and individual liberty.”

Libertarians said Hlavka’s commitment to advancing liberty in Florida has been an inspiration to the party. The LPF said he was embarking on a new chapter in Arizona.
