Tampa Police recently busted ten men in an undercover prostitution operation in Central Florida.
Tampa Police officers assigned to the Street-Anti Crimes Unit recently conducted an undercover prostitution operation along the Nebraska Avenue corridor. The November 17th initiative resulted in the arrest of ten individuals for solicitation of prostitution and the seizure of 10 vehicles.
“Prostitution is not a victimless crime and fuels the exploitation of vulnerable people. Those who pay for these services contribute to a cycle of harm and should be held accountable,” said Chief Lee Bercaw. “This operation should send a clear message that we are committed to enforcing community standards and will proactively address quality-of-life concerns for those who live and work in Tampa.”
