A Central Florida man was found deceased in a residential pool.
Volusia County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Deltona home for a report of a drowning in a residential pool.
The deceased, identified as 26-year-old Tyrone L. McQueen Jr., was found unresponsive in the pool late this month. A family member and a neighbor discovered him when searching the property after he hadn’t been seen all day.
Responding deputies pulled McQueen from the pool, but he was pronounced deceased at 9:11pm on that Saturday.
The initial investigation found no indications of foul play, but rather an apparent accidental fall into the pool. The investigation remains active, pending full autopsy results.
The Volusia Sheriff’s Office sent its condolences to Mr. McQueen’s family and friends.
