A man who robbed a store at gun point and made off with cash and merchandise, is still on the loose and Orange County Sheriff’s deputies need your help in apprehending this crook. Before making off with his loot, the man shot the store clerk in his leg.
On December 21st 2009, a man entered the Game Stop at 2781 Hiawassee Road and demanded cash and merchandise from the clerk. The clerk complied with all of the suspect’s demand, however he still shot the victim in his leg. The suspect then left the store and headed in an unknown direction. The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening and he was treated and released from Orlando Regional Medical Center.
The suspect is described as a black male, between 6’0″ and 6’02”, weighing about 200-230 pounds and in his mid-to late 40’s. He was wearing a blue jacket, black baseball hat with a white “Nike” swoosh on the front.
Deputies believe that the same suspect committed an Armed Robbery to the same business on November 27th.
