The studio’s beautification and recent landscaping complement the variety in programs offered at the Pottery Studio.  Popular programs include family night pottery, visiting clay artist series, wheel throwing, and kids’ summer clay camp.

At the open house, Mayor Dyer honored longtime patron Raymond Payne who passed away in 2006 with a proclamation and unveiling of a portrait in his likeness to be displayed in the Pottery Studio.

For more than 40 years through the City of Orlando’s Families, Parks and Recreation Department; the Pottery Studio has provided a safe and relaxing atmosphere where individuals explore, invent, learn and create objects out of clay at their own pace. In addition to open studio time and programs, the Pottery Studio also hosts several nationally-acclaimed potters two-day workshops.
