Florida lottery officials recently announced a Sanford resident won $1 million from a $5 MONOPOLY DOUBLER scratch-off lottery ticket. The winning was sold in New Smyrna Beach.
Tyrone Bouie, from Seminole County, reportedly decided to take a one-time, lump sum of $798,985 instead of multiple payments for more money.
Lottery officials said the winning ticket was sold at a Conrad Mobil located on North Dixie Freeway. For selling winning lottery tickets, businesses get a bonus commission too.
There have been a few Central Florida millionaire winners lately, including a Volusia County resident from DeLand, a Lake County resident from Groveland, another Lake County man from Astatula, and another Seminole County resident from Longwood.
