Orlando Citrus Parade Delights Thousands

The Orlando Citrus Parade made its way through the streets of downtown Orlando today, Wednesday, to the delight of thousands.

Celebrating its 30th Anniversary, the Spherion Orlando Citrus Parade was composed of some 46 different bands, floats and organizations.  Its signature citrus fruit of over 100,000 pieces, put together by volunteers will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank.

The Champs Sports Bowl was staged on Tuesday night and the Wisconsin Bullies blew past Miami with a 20-14 victory.

Attention now is being turned to the upcoming Capitol One Bowl game on Friday, January 1st 2010 at the Florida Citrus Bowl.  And here, LSU will square off with Penn State, starting time, 1:00 pm.
