Assistant Director of Information Communication and Technology Services, Myron Bryant is a finalist for the 2010 Enterprise Telecom Professional of the Year. AOTMP, a provider of information solutions for fixed and wireless telecom environments, announced Bryant’s status as a finalist late last week. The award recognizes individuals who are using best practices in fixed and wireless telecom management. Bryant is one of three finalists.
Bryant’s leadership in the area of network convergence and expense management enables continuing efficient operations for the district. The OCPS converged network is the communications highway for voice, video and data. Current trends in systems in OCPS include more video and voice services on the network, broader use of wireless technologies and an increased number of clients. The implementation of these systems and others like them could potentially save Orange County Public Schools more than $10 million this school year.
The winner chosen as the Enterprise Telecom Professional of the Year will be announced at the Telecom Environment Management 2010 Conference on February 16, 2010 in Orlando.
