The Orange County Community Conference is back on Saturday, October 8th. The event will be held at the Orange County Convention Center, North Concourse (9400 Universal Blvd, Orlando, 32819) from 7:30am to 2:30pm. It will feature Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings, County Commissioners, and the Orange County Neighborhood Services Division for an action-packed day filled with opportunities to learn more about Orange County services.
The annual Orange County Community Conference provides Orange County residents an opportunity to learn about innovative ways to improve neighborhoods and to attend workshops about how to strengthen your neighborhood, and to share new ideas on preserving and enhancing your community. Workshops offer a well-rounded blend of topics for individual citizens, voluntary neighborhood organizations, homeowners associations and other community groups.
This year, the event returns to an in-person conference. There is a $10 event fee.
The 9am-10am sessions include: Understanding the Orange County Transportation Initiative, Ask A Lawyer, and Neighborhood Services Division 2.0: An Upgrade to Code Compliance.
The 10:15am-11:15am sessions include: A Sustainable and Resilient Orange County, A Source of Pride: Neighborhood Beautification, and 2022 Legislative Updates.
The 11:30am-12:30pm session is A Chat with Mayor Demings.
