“Last night U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed from this world. As we grieve Justice Ginsburg’s passing, I recall the opportunity I had to see her speak this January at the Association of American Law Schools Annual Meeting. She was every bit as brilliant, focused, and gracious as anyone who has read and admired her opinions would expect. Justice Ginsburg was a staunch advocate for the principle of equality under the law and her life’s work stands as a model for all of us who embrace equality under the law and endeavor to use our own lives to continue the work of ensuring that America truly and consistently lives up to that principle.”
