The Florida Department of Transportation is closing a very busy part of South Street, under I-4 in downtown, for the next two months as part of the I-4 Ultimate construction project. When the COVID-19 crisis calms down, traffic nightmares are almost guaranteed through downtown.
Westbound South Street is already closed, and eastbound South Street is scheduled to close at 8 p.m. on May 18th.
