Teenaged Thugs Rob 7 Eleven

Two teenagers robbed two employees at a 711 early early this morning, November 24th and then took off in a white BMW, which appears to have been stolen.

crime-scene-tape-police-lightsJerome Williams, 17 years old and Isaih Lane, 15, with hand guns and wearing masks, went into a 711 on 723 North Mills Avenue and demanded, at gun point that the employees hand over cash in the register and six cartons of Newport cigarettes, before jumping back into the BMW and taking off.  $103 in cash, had been handed over to the thugs.

Following a 911 call to report the robbery, the white BMW was located and a traffic stop initiated by police.  However, Lane, the driver of the car continued eluding police and eventually drove to Tangelo Park where he ditched the car.  He then fled on foot to his grandmother’s house on Big Horn Street, where he barricaded himself.

Orlando Police Department SWAT team were called to the scene. Williams, the passenger, was taken into custody after the car was ditched.

SWAT-CNT called into Lane grandmother’s house and around 3.27 am, he was taken into custody by police.

Meanwhile, Xavier Cruz-Alicea, the owner of the BMW was found wondering around in the area looking for his vehicle.  He told police that it had been stolen.

Both teenagers are being charged with robbery with a firearm.

Lane has been arrested 8 times prior to this incident.  He has had 5 arrests in 2009 and currently, has an auto theft charge pending.  He had no drivers license when police apprehended him.

Williams has no prior criminal history.
