Orlando Police investigators are on the scene of bank robbery at 5190 South John Young Parkway at SunTrust.
A suspect wearing a black baseball cap entered the SunTrust Bank before 1:45 pm, passed a note and implied a weapon. The suspect fled on foot towards Americana.
There were no injuries to any employees of the Bank.
Orlando Police do not believe that this SunTrust robbery is connected with another robbery that took place earlier today at Regions Bank, Millenia Boulevard.
This is the second time another SunTrust Bank has been robbed within a two week period. On October 29th a SunTrust Bank located at 1601 South Orange Avenue was robbed. It is believed that both SunTrust bank robberies are connected.
